My name is Devin Hahne. I put together this webpage as a grade requirement for the Physics 211 class I am taking at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Today's date is Monday, November 22nd, 2004
(and might I add that this project is due by 11:59PM this Wednesday night!).
I am a musician and have played a variety of instruments since I was approximately 4 years old (other professional interests include engineering and martial arts).
The production and maturation of sound has always fascinated me (and still the most glorious sound a human is capable of producing is the rich tone of a trombone). This was a thoroughly enjoyable research project for me to study because of the depth I discovered as I looked into the mechanics of sound. I invite you to examine what I had found as I researched.
