What is a bow and arrow and how is it related to physics ?

    - A bow is a fairly basic device that is constructed from some kind of elastic material with two points and a string running
between them. traditionally made from a flexible wood while modern bows are typically made from a carbon fiber or metal.

  - Archery involves physics far more than is immediately evident, but the main purpose of the bow is to store the mechanical energy

that is produced by the archer and when triggered or released to transfer as much of the potential energy into kinetic energy of the arrow.

 - When the archer pulls the bow back the archers muscles exert a force on the string that bends the limbs of the bow backward. the amount of

force that the archers fingers exert on the bows string when the bow is pulled is called the draw weight. the elastic or or spring energy
of the bow is now potential energy.
