The Skateboard

From the beginning skateboards were fairly simple, two roller skates and a two by four. The goal was to climb up a hill and ride down, this as called side walk surfing. The goal was to ride, and avoid falling on a rickety unstable board. Now technological innovations have given skateboards the ability to do tricks, and ride for distances. This has given skateboarders a higher calling, and now make them the daredevils of the park and street.
A skateboard is a wooden board connected to two trucks by eight bolts. Each of these trucks have have a king pin, two axles, and four bearings. The board has two sides with concave ends to allow the board to "pop". Skateboards are used for sidewalk acrobatics, which are composed of flips, spins, and jumps. Let's talk about the basics of skateboarding.
