Introduction to Hockey
- Hockey is a contact sport that
is played inside a rink or on a field(field
hockey) that is a 6 vs 6, with one goalie on
each team and 3 offensive players and 2

developed in England during the 18th Century and
the first Hockey association was formed in the
United Kingdom during the 18th century. (fih.ch)
- The NHL is the biggest
association for Hockey as of right now. NHL
stands for the National Hockey League and it has
30 teams from the United States and Canada. (nhl.com)
