Mercury Hour Glass Demonstration
Instructions:
Hold carefully and turn vertically. Watch the liquid metal drop. Because of the liquid properties of mercury, each drop is spaced one second apart.
Safety Information: Do not allow others to
handle the hourglass. Store in layers of bubble wrap and
box. If the glass breaks, evacuate the room and contact
Jeanie Talbot or Health and Safety to clean it up.
