You are driving home from a Physics homework session late one stormy night. The rain pounds the ground so hard the noise is deafening. Thunder and lightning are your only company on the desolate highway. You count less than two seconds between flashes and thunder. You begin to wonder whether or not you should get out of the car and seek shelter. Is it really safe to be in a giant hunk of conducting metal with all of this lightning about? What do you do?
