Operation Penny Drop
The Basic Calculations...
calculating                         Final Velocity Squared = Initial Velocity Squared + Twice Acceleration * Height
Calculator (3)
  (Vi^2)*2AH

Assuming Gravity is 9.81 m/s squared
Assuming the Height is 381 meters
Assuming that the penny is dropped - so Vi = 0 m/S
So the equation becomes:
Velocity Final = negative squre root of two times height times gravity:
                             -2Hg
And we substituted the numbers in to get:
-86.42m/s
-86.42 m/s
Based on this calculation (this is 193.3mph), the penny could potentially kill someone...
But their is more to the problem than a couple algebraic calculations...
Terminal Velocity
