The red dots in the figure are placed along the center of the body from the base of the neck, the hips, and between the legs.

By placing black lines through the red dots, we have made two axes of rotation throughout the body.

We can see that the upper part of the body is rotating in a clockwise direction around axis AB while the lower part of the body is rotating in a counterclockwise direction around axis AC. The runner moves their body in this manner to keep balance.
