Thanks to the wonders of the internet, the information David Hahn had to work so very hard to amass is now generally available on the internet.

You can find his original reference, the Golden Book of Chemistry, on http://openmaterials.org/2010/03/18/banned-the-golden-book-of-chemistry-experiments/ or http://chemistry.about.com/library/goldenchem.pdf.

Most of the other information he used is now available through open source websites like the now-abolished Black Mask or more respectable Project Gutenberg. Try searching for older physics textbooks; some of my own sources for books yielded several hundred results. Sift through, and you too can build a nuclear reactor.

However, I hope that after going through this website, any reader's methods and results will be more responsible.
