Newton’s Laws of Motion

Newton’s First Law of Motion:
In the absence of external forces, an object at rest will remain at rest, and an object in motion will continue in motion with a constant velocity.

Newton’s Second Law of Motion:
The acceleration of an abject is directly proportional to the resulting force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.
F = ma

Newton’s Third Law of Motion:
If two bodies interact, the force exerted on body 1 by the body 2 is equal to and opposite in direction to the force exerted on body 2 by body 1.
F12 = -F21
