Maxwell Foundation
The James Maxwell Foundation was
created in 1977 and is located in Edinburgh,
Scotland in the childhood home of James Maxwell.
They aim to promote the history of James Maxwell,
offer workshops to encourage young students to
become mathematicians, and to preserve his history.
The foundation often supports young scientists in
their research via research grants. They also
sponsor a number of prizes for young and determined
scientists.
