|How to Run
For Alaska's athletes, the Equinox Marathon is a rite of passage. Its 26(ish) miles of grueling and sometimes snow-covered terrain through Fairbanks' hills, valleys, and everything in between make it one of the world's most difficult trail marathons.
Whether attempting to conquer this race for the very first time or seeking revenge on it, Equinox runners can use concepts from physics to take advantage of the course's structure and possibly even shed minutes of agony from their times.
