MINECRAFT
Minecraft is a sandbox video game, with minimalist rules and structure.  While this primitivism allows for much creative freedom, it also leaves core mechanics easy to neglect.
THE UNKNOWN
The mathematics and physics of Minecraft's physics engine is fairly uncharted territory.  For a simulation-type game, not much study has been conducted on the exact physical properties that govern its world.  Instead of analyzing the code, let's analyze one of these properties through experimentation.
