An Imperfect,
Unenclosed
World
Sadly, a
perfectly enclosed system is usually not the
condition we see our explosions take place in.
Because of this, when calculating things like
the energy released from the initial
explosion and the movement patterns of the
particles. As you can see from the image on
the right, it's not as simple as all of the
force going into the particles and explosion,
the are many factor to take into account such
as sound, gravity, air resistance and more!
Even with all of these things, we can still
get close by taking into account these
external forces and dissipation of system
energy by adding additional parameters to our
equilibrium calculations to get a much more
accurate answer.
