With the development of
smartphones the digital keyboard displayed
on the screen has become quite popular. To give
input to the smartphone
a user would press (apply a force) at the
location of the key on the
displayed keyboard. The smartphone reads this
force and displays
the character that was pressed.
A laser
displayed keyboard projects a keyboard
onto a flat surface. These projectors are very
small
but portable and effective, they use a thermal
senor
and a distance sensor to read where a hand
went in
relation to the projected keyboard.
