What is
Powerlifting?
The technical
definition of Powerlifting is: "A competition or
sport involving three tests of strength: the
bench press, squat, and two-handed dead lift."
according to Dictionary.com. For most, the
definition translates to: "A Neanderthalic
activity for meat heads where heavy weight is
picked up and put down repeatedly." The sport
proves to be much more complicated and technical
than it first appears. It deals greatly with
complex bio-mechanics and the important physics
concepts such as moments, forces, and gravity.
