The Nobel Prize

During Schrodinger's time in Zurich as
a professor would be the most important in his
career as a physicist. Research in theoretical
physics would eventually spark, "Schrodinger's interest
in explaining that an electron in an atom would move
as a wave."[3] Schrodinger would go
on to write an inspiration for this was from De
Broglie's proposed theory of wave mechanics. While
Schrodinger might have been considered a late
bloomer by making his discovery in his late 30's
while most other theoretical physicists make theirs
in their 20's.
