Moving Downhill

When moving downhill, the force that propels you forward no longer comes from your body and instead comes from gravity. This is accomplished by transferring your gravitational potential energy ( the amount of energy you could build from your mass, gravity, and how high up you are) to kinetic energy (the energy of movement); this happens through the equation: PE at start=KE at the end  or mgh=(.5)m(v^2). The previous equation is however greatly simplified as it does not account for friction or drag (air resistance).
