What is a binaural beat?
- Binaural beats are simply brain
waves that are created by sound waves.
- Headphones are required for this
to actually work. In one ear a frequency is
played and in the other a slightly different
frequency is played.
- The brain then takes the
differences between the two frequencies and
creates its own frequency.
- Example: 100Hz is played in one
ear and 117Hz is played in the other. A binaural
beat of 17Hz is created by the brain in which
the natural brain waves start to follow the
binaural beat that was created.
