Crimp: refers to the frequency of waves in the wool.


Thermal resistance: the reciprocal of thermal conductivity, refers to the ability of a material to resist the flow of heat


 Hydrophobic: The fear of, or the tendency to repel or fail to mix with, water.


 Hydrophilic: Having the tendency to mix with, dissolve in, or be wetted by water.
