What's in Shakespeare's closet?
Shakespeare opened the closet, like usual. In the closet, there was a mirror. The light reflected by him and went to the direction of the mirror was again reflected by the mirror, and went into Shakespeare's eyes. Since he could barely see his whole body, the mirror must have been about half as long as him.
See the picture above (with awesome Shakespeare). Because the angle of between the incident light and the mirror and that of between the reflected light and mirror are same, to be able to see the whole body, the mirror has to be about half as long as the body. Strictly speaking, at least half as long as the length between feet and eyes. (Suppose that length is longer than that of between top of the head and eyes! ) So Shakespeare must have checked these reflected lights almost every morning.
