The azimuth a is defined as the angle
enclosed between the positive x-axis of a xyz reference frame and the north
direction. a is always positive and may take
values between 0° and 360°. The xz-plane is parallel to the surface of
the earth at the selected location.
j is the degree of latitude and depends
on the location on the globe (-90° <= j <=+90°)
