Application

Maglev is a system that is used to propel vehicles by utilizing magnetic levitation to provide lift and propulstion.  The primary uses are monorails but future ideas may include cars or other modes of transportation.  One of the benefits of monorails is that it is simpler than the regular train system (dual rails).

Induced Magnetic field calculations can be conducted using Faraday's Law (shown below).

Pmag is the force per unit area (N/m^2), B is the magnetic field (Tesla), and miu isthe permeability of a vacuum (=4(3.14159)x10^-7 NA^-2)
