HELPFULL VERBAGE TO KNOW:

    1. Angle of attack is the angle between the flat ground and the cord of the airfoil.
    2. Airfoil is the cross section of the wing parallel the plane.
    3. Lift is the amount of upward force that is produced from the angle of attack, thrust, area of the wing and shape of the air foil.
    4. Drag is the amount of force acting against the aircraft in the horizontal axis on the plane.
    5. Weight is the total mass of the aircraft (and everything in it) multiplied by gravity (32.2 ft/s2).
    6. Thrust is the amount of forward force acting in the horizontal axis of the aircraft. This force comes from the aircrafts power plant and is usually either a prop engine and is measured in HP, or a turbine engine measured in KW.
    7. Planform Area is basically described as the area of the wing.
