Welcome to my website! This site is for my 212X Physics II class. Our assignment is to choose any topic we wish, just as long as it relates to physics. And as you can tell the topic that I have decided on is the Fermi National Accelerator. You know, it wasn't easy picking a topic for this class, everything we deal with relates to the laws of physics in one way or another. The first thing about the Fermilab that caught my eye was the enormous size of the lab compared to the tiny size of the subatomic particles that are studied in the lab. The Fermilab has some of the most sophisticated equipment on Earth and it occupies over ten square miles of land and it is used to study some of the smallest particles known to man. But what peeked my interest the most about the Fermilab was the question they are trying to figure out, "Where does everything come from?" (Michael S. Witherell, Fermilab Director). It's an easy question with complicated answers. If that doesn't peek your interest then I don't know what will.

Here's a list of everything you can expect to find in this site, so please learn and enjoy!
