Thrust
- Known as the force that propels an object
forward. In an aircraft the source of propulsion usually consists
of turbine engines or propeller

As
a Mechanical Force, thrust is generated by accelerating a mass of gas
which is best explained by Newtons 3rd law. This law states that for
every action there is a opposite and equal reaction. To accelerate with
thrust, energy has to be expended. Energy is created as heat from
combustion of fuel
