My Thoughts:

From a personal perspective, Cymatics is what made me take interest in science. I watched a TED talk about Cymatics my freshman year in high school which just captivated my interest. I didn't really understand why I was looking into the physics of sound everyday but I just started to. It had me questioning why and how everything was working, questions I astound myself now for not even thinking about. As a musician, it all seemed so connected to what I was learning, even if I couldn't see it.

I
started to look into physics which I fell in love with throughout my days in high school, which led me to major in it now, not even understanding what exactly I'll be doing with it. So as a result, I would really like to thank every person studying this confusingly beautiful area of physics for catching my attention. I suppose I could thank the universe it self as well, but I'm not sure I'd get a very thoughtful answer.

Regardless of my experience with this science, there are many more questions left unanswered. Why is is that these patterns are formed? Is there a way we could perceive Cymatics without vibrational experiments? How does this tie into the rest of the universe with it's formation of galaxies, stars, and natural geometry? The science needs more attention and it should be publicized as much as questions of energy are.

Cymatics is truly a beautiful little phenomenon.
