Sinking Continued

There is also the situation of binoculars being locked up in the crows nest and if they were being used at the time then perhaps the icebergs could have been seen a head of route. Once the ships hull was breached there could have been a chance the the ship could have floated still. When a ship is a float the buoyancy and the gravitational pull of Earth has equal forces acting against each other, also the density of the ship is spread out making  the density of the ship  less than water so it stays above water. However, 6 of the 14 compartments were immediately filled once the electronic doors were closed up. This caused the ship to tilt forward and allowed water to come over the front of the top part of the ship. Thus, making the ship taking the variables of buoyancy and density out of the equation making the ship sink to the bottom of the equation.
