Energy

A baseball player is full of energy when he walks up to the batters box.                                                                 Kinetic Energy is the energy pertaining to motion.
But what kind of energy does he have?

The answer is potential energy and kinetic energy                                                                                          As you can see, the player to the left has already taken his step

The picture below shows a player batting full of potential energy.                                                              back and is waiting to turn his potential energy into kinetic energy
Potential Energy Energy of position.                                                                                          The picture below shows the batter at his full Kinetic energy

  Potential Energy (U) = mass(M)*gravity(g)*height(h)                                                                           Kinetic Engery (K) = 1/2 Mass(M)*Velocity(V)^2
