Sound Makes Waves!
Have you ever dropped a rock into a puddle of water and watched the
little waves that go out from where the rock landed? These kind of waves we can see.
Sound also makes waves but we can’t see them in the same way. Let's look at waves:
The invisible sound waves look a lot like these -
as you'll see when you go to Page 2 and watch how
fire can help us see sound. When the invisible sound waves get to your ears,
the parts in your inner ear start vibrating from the waves and
your brain knows what they mean - so you hear sound!
