The effect of the color of a bicycle remained a mystery for many years, until it was determined to be not a physical effect, but an effect of humans'
latent telepathic abilities. Thereby, a popular color, such as red or blue, may be useful if you spend much time bicycling in public places, such as
university campuses. For winter biking, it may be good to choose winter colors to get through the snow, like white or light blue.
It is a well known fact, that the alien race called the Orks are the most powerful psychers in the universe, although none of them realize it. They also believe red to be a color that will grant additional speed to a vehicle, when in fact this is a result of their latent psychic abilities. All in all, the one with the psychich powers most likely to affect your bicycle is yourself, so the most important thing is to get a bicycle with a color scheme that apeals to you.
