Everyone dreams about flying, but not everyone does it, you have to be brave to do it and even a little crazy to do it on a dirt bike. Yeah it's super dangerous but that danger and risk can be dropped down a little by knowing how to land your bike. And this can be done properly by making mid-air adjustments.
Mid-air adjustments are adjustments that a rider makes in the middle of the jump to set up for the landing. If you hit the gas the front end will come up and if you hit the brake the front end will go down. These techniques can be understood by looking at angular momentum. When the bike is in the air it is not fixed to anything and is free to move around. So when you give it more gas or hit the brakes in the air the back wheel's angular speed changes, but since angular momentum is conserved the moment of inertia has to also change which makes the bike tilt backwards or forwards.
The mathematical equation that describes this is Ii Wi=If Wf,
Momentum=I W, I=moment of inertia,W=angular speed, (i=initial, f=final). (Physics book)
