Physics Around the World

The exciting thing about physics is that it applies to everything. No matter where we go, an understanding of physics can help us answer questions about the world and the things we observe around us. How do rainbows happen? How can lizards crawl on walls and water striders walk on water? These questions will be answered here, but the underlying concepts can be used in myriad ways. Having a basic understanding of physics enriches the observations we make.
