Curvature of Space

If you treat the plane as the rubber sheet and a massed ball resting on top of it, you can clearly see the effects the ball has on the rubber plane (it's curving it). Now imagine that the plane is space-time, and the mass is a planet, and voila, you have just successfully visualized the concept of the bending of space by a massed object..
