SOLAR WIND
The solar wind comes from the sun’s
corona.
The corona blows high-energy
particles into space. These particles make
up the solar wind and are in the plasma state.
The solar wind is blown in all
directions in space. If it blows in the
direction of earth than the earth’s magnetic fields pulls the wind towards
earth. Then it takes the solar wind
about three days to reach the earth’s atmosphere. This solar wind is then affected by the Earth’s magnetic field
surrounding the earth.
You can see solar wind shooting out from the sun during this
solar eclipse.
