ABSTRACT SPARTA
is an undergraduate, ballooning program developed at
Norfolk State University. The primary objective of such a
program is to provide science, technology, engineering, and math
(STEM) students with meaningful, hands-on, research experience
early in their academic career. Students are engaged in
practical integration of classroom theory with the real world
application. The aim is to provide students with basic
scientific skills and expose them to high quality research.
I will discuss the program’s structure, the role and experience of
students and faculty. |
