ABSTRACT

The growing demand for energy remains a critical issue for the world with Fusion as one of the few ways to potentially meet this need. For the last few days I have been serving on the DIII-D PAC (Program Advisory Committee). DIII-D is one of the largest and most sophisticated fusion experiments in the world. We will discuss the interesting science being done there and their plans for the future. In addition, we will discuss the PAC process (which is an interesting two way process).
