Once
upon a time, you were presented with a PhD
comprehensive problem in quantum mechanics that asked you to find
the energy levels of the potential
After a fraction of a second (during which time you were undoubtedly thinking "Who invited that?", or words to that effect), you skipped that question -- and since then you've never given it another thought. This talk will answer that question, introduce superpotentials3, show a really slick way to find the ground state energy of the Hydrogen atom, and possibly explain a little bit about bosonic operators and fermionic operators. | ||

| 2Not to be confused with Supersymmetric Quantum Field Theory | ||
| 3And one more use for the harmonic oscillator | ||
