HISTORY
Isaac Newton was
born in Lincolnshire, England on Christmas day 1642 to
Hannah and Isaac Newton Sr. His father died while he
was still in the womb and upon his mother's marriage to his
stepfather, Isaac went to live with his grandmother until
the age of ten when he returned to live with his mother.
Before attending college Isaac Newton attempted the family
business of farming, but he was not happy as a farmer and
could only think of his studies. The head of King's School
(Newton's childhood school) finally convinced Newton's
mother to send him to college.
