FORCE
<http://home.earthlink.net/~alkasiber/sledding.html>
Thanks to Isaac Newton
we can calculate the
Force of a dog team. Newton's
second law states that Force equals Mass times Acceleration or F=MA. So
a net
force applied to a sled, via dog team, causes it to accelerate at a
rate that
is inversely proportional to the mass of the sled and driver. The
next page will discuss acceleration.
