Rainbows are the most beautiful and spectacular light show observed on earth.
Rainbows are formed by the refraction of white light off of rain drops.
Rainbows contain
seven colors, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and
viloet.
The colors of
the rainbows are determined by the angle at which the white light
refracts off of the
water droplets in
the sky.
There are two
main types of rainbows, primary
and secondary.
